This previous student video is my favourite as I feel they have used a disjuncture structure with some elements of illustration to appeal to their target audience. It appears their target audience are from the ages of 16-24 as it's of a dubstep genre; and they're most likely to be female as the performer in this video is female, as well as the props and themes in the video are quite feminine (candles, notes:"love"). I also like this video because they've used filters such as desaturation and plenty special effects, cutaway shots and motifs in their media language. This video represents a heartbroken female which is why its suitable for their target audience as many may be able to relate to.
