Carol Vernallis Theory On Music Video's

Vernallis studied editing and camerwork closely in music video, she belived that cuts and editits occured much more frequently than thos you see in films. She also relates to Goodwins Theory of Disjuncture and how edits seem to be rhythmic and closley connected to the song.
She also belives that a master shot (base track) is frequently used to give the video a stucture.

Vernallis's theory could come in really helpfull when im doing my editing because she explors different aspects, for example when a video cut to the beat and how the camera is constanly moving and never static also following the artist.
