Analysis of Digipaks

Wretch 32: Wretchrospective
As Wretch 32 has no Digipak, I've manage to find his cover for his mixtape Wretchrospective.  The front panel of this album cover follows most of the conventions of a general digipak, however, for as Wretch 32 is a new artist I feel they should have used a close up shot of the artist.
This mixtape cover relates to the Grime/UK Rap genre as it features the significant and recognisable features of the UK such as tower blocks and birds. It relates to the target audience as they would also be familiar to the graffiti style font Wretch's name is in as well as the motifs. The black white and shades of blue colours they have included, the core target audience of males should find this appealing.

Tinie Tempah: Disc-overy
This album cover relates to the genre of Grime/British Hip Hop as its bold in terms of colour and the artist Tinie Tempah is wearing clothing that represents this genre; bomber jacket. This relates to the core target audience of teenage to young adult males as it features the artist holding a city, which most young adult males and teenagers aspire to have some sort of power of. It could also relate to the wider audience of young females and teenage females as feminine colours such as purples and pinks are included.
