Analysis Of Digipack

The front of scorchers CD cover is good because i believe he's used the codes and conventions of a CD cover for example the colour scheme and the image of him is nice clear and big, this is a way to promote himself, however seeing as this is one of his most recent mixtapes and he is a little more well known he can get away with a shot of him at a side angel.

Scorcher is of the same genre as my initial artist which is Wretch 32, and I've chosen to analyse his CD cover because it is something similar to which i will like to follow the codes and conventions of. For example the colour scheme is followed throughout the digipack both back and front and this looks more appealing because a CD cover with various amounts of colours which do not relate to your genre would not look nice.

I also think that the picture of the back of the cover is really effective because it draws us as the audience into CD cover and also the similar picture from the front of the cover is followed, for example the white jumper with the jacket hanging off his shoulder.
Also the font of the track list also follows the font of the front cover of his Cd's name etc..
In addition the positioning of the bar code and different types of record labels are also positioned in the places where u will find are appropriate in the do's and don'ts in our outline.
